Just thought i should praise myself more since i said i would in the previous entry but i failed to do so. I 4got lar..
Would like to talk about make up. In the past, i used to b such a dork when it comes to make ups.I don't think i really started exploring make ups till i was ...mayb..22 or 23 years old. That's considered rather too old to start exploring rite? In the past, whenever i do go for clubbing, my cousin would do some of my makeups for me. She has more experience in that. But then eventually it became troublesome to head over to her place for makeups before heading out, so i learnt to do it myself. Must say that i've improved tremendously. But then again, i don't need much to look good. WHAHAHA so ..making up ..is considered very easy for me.
I'm too lazy to put on makeups everyday for work, my work doesn't require that anyway. Lucky for me, i still have the youth to sustain me thru... There was a time when i would put some light makeup whenever i go out..but nowadays i simply bochup. I don't give a damn, but keep me away from mirrors or i would feel quite sian looking, at this reflection of a girl with spects, disheveled hair, non-existent eyebrows, and sleepy eyes.
I think im really lucky. I have a natural pink glow. JUST LIKE WHAT U SEE IN THE PHOTO WITH DEYING. I don't put on foundations. Bcos i don't like the idea of anything being stuck in my pores. I just don't fancy that idea and i always think that foundation DO get stuck in my pores. As if my pores not big enuff.... Some pple think they need to cover their pores up with foundations, but seriously, that would make it worse isn't it? And lucky for mi..no more big pimples anymore, bcos i had my fair big shares of pimples in my younger years. So now God decided to b nicer to me by giving me gd skin. Not superbly good and smooth but at least so much betta than last time. I seldom do any maintainence as well...im too lazy to do scrubbings,exfoliations, maskings.....neither do i put on moisturisers, eyecreams, nightcreams... even tho any die hard vain pot will tell you THAT'S A NO NO. yeah? but i don't get wrinkles and problems like u vain pots do leh, even tho u slap on so many things???? I'll make it a point to slap some on...when im less lazy.
Back to the topic of foundations. I have no foundations in my make up bag anymore, bcos i've not used them for the past donoe how many years. In any stage makeup, any person who were ever involved in doing stage ..will tell u that u do need foundation on stage...it's to make everything stand out.. But i refused to put on any for any of my performances. Dance onli mah....heck care lar.. I would b masking my pink complexion if i tries to cover everything by foundation. So nah it doesn't work for me. I hate putting too many things on my face. Clot pores clot pores clot poressss..... I had too much of thick makeup that in sec sch dance liaoz...mayb that's one of the reasons y my acne problems were so jialat back then.hmm..
Next thing is ..i seldom put on blusher, bcos i aldy have a pink complexion and i blush. The only times i put blushers were for performance( u don't wan to look like ur half ill) and...for clubbing( bcos it's dark...) But then again, actually i don't figure y i put blusher when i club, it's not like anyone can see the blush, and after some drinking, the whole face is red, so that kinda defeats the whole point huh.
Putting makeup is like an artist doing her masterpiece. I get a sense of satisfaction looking at the face staring back at mi in the mirror. I normally stick to natural makeup, with slightly more thick n dark makeup for performance. Soemtimes u just get inspired to add another colour, or another stroke of the eye pencil on ur eye lid..or blusher...it's just a moment of inspiration thing haha..
Doing makeup can take up 10 mins to 1 hr of my time. Depending on how fussy i am or how much eye makeups i want that day. Usually, most of my makeups are focussed on the eyes. Not bcos i have ugly eyes.....but that's the onli thing i can put colours on...i mean lips so simple...blusher and foundation oso don't need liaoz...wat else to do..it's all the eyes liao lor, eyebrows,eyes, eyebag, dark rings.
I love this photo, bcos i look so tai tai. That is my ultimate ambition in life man. I think i look like im somewhere near being one. ALbert took the photo without me knowing. But i love it. In this photo, i only did my eyebrows, and believe it or not, two strokes of eye liner without any eye makeups.No blusher, no foundations, concealer for the eyes(sometimes i 4get to put concealers as well), and lip balm that has aldy vanished/swallowed by the time i 'posed' for this photo:p
Ok.. rem i feel so sian rite? Now i feel betta after praising myself to the skies.I'll enjoy the fact that you pple, cannot stand me. I can fully understand the urge in you to come n kick/back stab/poke me or tell me how bhb i am...... or put me down in watever ways u think of ...the more u feel that way... the more kick i get out of it seriously. I mus b sick in the head.
