I was so touched to find out that Deying, despite her being thousand of miles away from SG, in a far faraway mysterious land called Eygpt, reads my blog!!!!!!!!!!
I have this impression that you guys are not exactly reading my tales of Guangzhou ah. Complaining it's too long issit?
Then fine lor..i'll write abt cny now.
Besides CNY being sickenly unhappy for me, it was also sickenly boring. CNY eve, i went to cousin's place for dinner. CNY 1st day, they came over for visitation and dinner. And then sunday, monday, Tuesday rot at home. Major rotting. I couldn't even find pple who could go out and have fun. Everyone has their relatives to entertain, places to visit or some other thigns to attend to. This was a really boring CNY. Expected. Every yr oso like that. Tuesday night, at least i managed to get my cousin n her friend Kurt to watch the Epic Movie with me.Then we went to Clake Quay with Lloyd, Iris ,Albert and another friend of my cousin, Waimum. WEnt for a drink before heading back. The gals were just busy taking lots of photos.
AND THATS ALL.
Besides that, i also carrying an ulcer in my mouth, the size of a 5 cent coin. NO clinics were opened during CNY, so i had to wait till WED to see a doc. Pple may think i purposely wanna get mc and zao work...well, clinic only open on wed wat...but then again, the ans is yes. I oso wanna get mc. Bcos the ulcer really makes mi very siaN. Ya lar. I gez not many pple can understand y an ulcer can give so much hell. Bcos it's the size of a 5 cent coin leh? I've been in pain the last few days.
So i decided i shd go see the doc and get medication, bcos the medication he gave mi has finished and i know it's really effective. The doctor was shocked to see my ulcer so big. At 1st i was still thinking it 's really silly to run to the doctor juz cos i have ulcer but it's the biggest largest ulcer i ever had.It was the 4th day when i went to see the doc and it hasn't shown any signs of recovering. The left side of my mouth is stiff aldy bcos of the ulcer, the upper gums near the molar teeth oso sore. I wonder y.. i have this imagination that my ulcer is affected the nerves of something bcos it felt so much like a toothache instead. But then again i never had a toothache before. So how would i know rite. The sharp pain could sometimes run from the lower jaw up to the area near my temple...that's weird isn't it.. Thank God i don't have a string of other ulcers that usually followed after an ulcer has formed. My lymph node on the left side of my face is also swollen. So he prescribed some anti inflammatory med which he said will help the pain as well and medication to apply on my ulcer. The ulcer is so big that i have to use considerably amount of medication to cover the area. Bcos the ulcer is so far into my mouth, i have to use a cotton bud to reach. It's also very close to the tongue, the upper teeth and the throat. Basically not a nice combination lar...i felt like puking after the medicine kept coming into contact with the back of my tongue.....
Hai...have i mention that i didn't take much of the cny food AT ALL??? I didn't even have any chances of eating them! Drinking, eating and sleeping became a problem. I couldn't sleep on the left side. I couldn't eat rice (but my mom has been cooking rice.....everyday...) bcos the rice particles get stuck in my ulcer and it's horrendously painful, and then the horrific job of using my tip of my tongue to try to get the rice out of the ulcer area, causing more pain. OMG. Might as well juz kill me lar. SULK.
I think im losing the 2kg that i've gained on the trip juz cos of this ulcer.
Excuse me now. I've got to go apply the medication on my ulcer again.Its getting painful ...
