I wanted to blog abt this last nite but i was too dead tired when i came home from all the dancing. And at work was alittle too busy.

I danced from 8pm to 11.30pm. I gez i can't describe how much my legs and back and hands hurt man. It's like to the very bones of my feet, they groan with pain!

8 to 10pm was practising at hong lim cc. Derrick is supposed to haev a class. Last session for tues's class. But onli a couple turned up. The rest of the students were preparing for exams of sort. So we spent those time practicing so that we can get the routine more right..u kinda need some time of warm up to get things going...

After that we went over to xenbar. And met 2 other couples who will b performing. Not very friendly. Never tok to mi. But nvm. SO 3 couples in one studio. Juztin and yanqing went thru each of our dance routine, stopping the music repeatedly, scrutinizing every step, every movement, to the nitty gritty details. And suggestions of improvements etc...then we got to go one side and practice and improve and dance again...sometimse repeating a particular tedious section again and again like 15 times? My backalmost break. I haven't had SUCH an extensively excercise since donoe when.

The other 2 couples have trained like 9 mths till now. I onli trained less than 4 months and onli once a week. They have alot of big movements n stuffs...pretty impressive. I got to admit im not that comfortable or confident to dance infront of so many pple. It's like the 1st step to overcoming stage fright is to overcome the fear of how other pple see you. I was quite afraid..if that's the correct word to use, to realise that there will b other pple sitting in and watching etc...but i gez it's my fatigue or wat..i gez i didn't raelly care much after a while. In fact i didn't even realise i have stage fright till recently that i have to perform. It didn't use to b so bad? I mean i used to dance in schools and perform also. Or mayb bcos i was very confident of my steps etc. And i oso used to do things like tok to alot of pple..on the stage also. I kinda enjoyed it somehow actually.

Anyway Juztin praised me that im gd. So that was such an encouragement. I tot i danced badly. It's like after that Derick kept saying to mi, ' Now you believe me.I say ur gd. Pple all say your gd. ur trainable, if not y would i want to ask u to perform and train you?' Then i still find myself questioning,' are you sure not?' They partially blind meh?

But anyway im so glad it's over. And tomoro thurs..more practice on our own. Then Tues go down to b scrutinised again. But i muz say, i really feel so much motivated seeing other dancers train. And more motivated when there's an exchange of ideas and stuffs, it's not critism..but rather positive feedbacks. Intensive, but satisfying.

Juztin and yanqing's performance as attached.

Well if you think the movements are easy, I gez the phrase 10 min perfomance on stage is 10 yrs of hard work behind that.
