* PUKE BLOOD N DIE*

Wah kaoz..dui si liao lar..
I wrote such a long long entry on thursday, uploading so many pics but when i clicked on SUBMIT..an error messaged was shown instead of my entry being succesfully loaded. Piangs..so i gave up. I don wan to write anymore. I was writing abt some weekends thing and that was last weekends thing...now that it's aldy this weekend y not juz tok abt tis weekend lar...kaoz..

Today, yicai and i went all the way down to Mustafa to check out tvs. I donoe if i have mentioned this b4 but my 12 yr old 34 inch tv has been spoilt for 1 mth or so. We have been surviving on a 14 inch tv for that long. My mom previously wanted to get someone to fix it but not many pple fix tv nowadays since it's not really that worth it. But taking into consideration that my tv is aldy so old and has been aldy repaired once, even if we were to spend 200 bucks to repair it this time it won't last long...so began my search for a new tv. Plasma, LCD..wah they look so GOOD. But after all these searching sessions n chats with the salesmen, i've learnt a few things here n there.. Plasma are usually 40 over inches big, or bigger no smaller sizes. They look really gd..on display especially onli cos they had been tuned to high contrast. But if u bring it home u shdn't put it at such a high contrast bcos the higher u put the contrast, the faster the contrast fails..so by 4-5 yrs (if ur lucky it last that long) the colors will fade..not that nice..esp if on the tv for long hrs a day...and for LCDs usually come in smaller sizes..bcos plasma in small sizes are not nice...LCDs are not too bad..except that unlike plasma the bulbs will kinda fade ard 5 yrs and u have to spend money to change the bulbs..so i gave up plasma n LCDs since my tv would prob b on for at least 12 hrs a day, and i couldn't prob afford the prices..So projection tv. Not bad. Value for money, so big and all. Abt 1400-1600 bucks. But alittle dark, alittle not sharp. So i went for the conventional tvs...i tot mustafa was selling them at pertty gd prices. I got LG,29 inch $600. So now i'm $600 poorer but a nicer tv at home. Yeah! and LG is the onli brand that offers 4 yrs waranty..wow..the rest are like 1 yr...

I still got a list of expensive things i wanna buy. Each of time will burn a small hole in my bank, so i'm really considering which to buy and which to just give up. TV is aldy settled. The next, 17 inch LCD monitor. It's relatively cheap now. $400-500 depending on brands. I've checked Sim Lim aldy. A dvd/vcd drive+burner bcos mine is spoilt and super duper outdated.Mayb a new motherboard n ram but i'm gonna wait for this pc to completely die on mi 1st. Digital Camera. At least a 5 megapixel. Not soo soon. I could give this up. And a holiday in november ~ $500++++
Dad's eye operation~$600++

To update ur abit. Karen has tendered her resignation on monday. I didn't know till tuesday. And it came as a shock bcos she didn't say anything. And wat am i gonna do without her. It took mi the remaining 3-4 days of the week to get used to the fact that she's leaving. I was quite upset actually. Now i've come to accept it. She has her own gd reasons for leaving, mainly for greener pasture. It would b quite lonely for mi once she's gone. I mean she's been my chatting companion, my mentor, my support for so long..i hardly think i can do without her. Now i have ot get used to my new colleague..huida who came on monday onli to know that karen is leaving on tuesday and being drilled by her everyday so that he could take over her stuffs.. and ican't believe that at 9 mths here onli and i'm an old bird, and in-charged of the whole lab?! Wat a great responsibility. I was so worried... but after these few days i feel more equipped when i tried to clarify as many as thigns as possiblewhich i'm not sure of. sighz..pple come and go..it's kinda sad. The other lab seems so lively, with so many new pple coming in...while my lab is gonna b back to 2 pple again...and that onli means i can't have some long leave (like i had wanted to plan) for 1 mth or so..bcos the guy won't b able to handle things alone.karen...how can u do this to miiiiiii....but then again...i've come to accept working life..no matter how tired how dead i am..i've come to accept it..i no longer wish for halfweek to arrive, i no longer count anymore. I juz go thru week by week like a dead man, to realise how little energy i've left for myself to go out n play..and how one yr has passed since i grad and i didn't even notice and how i've been working here for 9 mths and it onli felt so recent and how karen mentioned that 4 yrs working here felt like nothing but it has been 4 yrs.....how time flies,esp when ur working..

When i was 12 yrs old i wished that i could grow older soon. I wish and i wish. When i was 16 i wish i could b 18 soon. WHen i was 18,i juz wish to be alittle bit older, old enuff to b recognised as an adult, valued as an adult. When i was 21, i wish i was back to 18 yrs old. When i'm 22, my counting has stopped at 21. This yr in november, i'm gonna b 23 yrs old. And i tot this day would never come. How ironic that when ur younger..time crawls like a snail for u. U wish n u wish to get older quickly but that 10 yrs was stretched out like 20 yrs...and now time passes like a flash. Its so scary. At 23 yrs old this yr, i'm still counting my age as..21 :D

We caught Charlie and the Choc factory last nite. I totally enjoyed it! I think i haven't fully enjoyed a show like this for a long time, it was juz pure childhood innocence and happiness. So cute. I mean the squirrels were so darn cute!! I wan one too!!! And i'm loving Johnny depp to bits! HE's so gd in every character so gd so gd so gd so gd! Things were so simple and easy when ur a child isn't it?nice!
