*Had so much trouble*
I had so much trouble trying to make this blog PERFECT. And i tot i could get it done fast. Turned out to put the Haloscan Comment thingie took mi 2 days?! It juz won't work!! Now finally it's working!!
Alot of things to update.
Friday was great. Xiaohui invited us to laselle's fashion design graduation for the diploma and degree student. The fashion show was held at zouk. And exclusively for invites onli. So hsiaolin and i went, Deying was sick. Meimei couldn't b bothered or mayb she hates the idea of entering a club. The fashion show was great. So were the models, esp some of the male models..wah so dashingly sexy. I really liked some of the clothes the students designed. I'm really impressed. It was my firset fashion show ever. After that we ( xiaohui,Hsiaolin,Vanessa,Richard and me) went to clarke Quay, thinking of eating supper and chilling out at the same time. But nowhere to eat n chill so we decided to eat at TCC 1st then go chill. SO spent quite a long time walking ard doing nothing..skip the details. In the end went to seven eleven got drinks at sat beside the stinky river, drank and tried chitchatting in our half semi-councious states. When u reach THAT level of sleepyness, even if u don't drink u act like ur half-drank u know. So reached home at 3am. Had been awake since 7+am till 3am. Wow...
Sat did nothing much. yicai trapped at home,cos he can't move ard. He has a tube inserted into his flesh to drain the 'bad' blood out into a bottle outside..so if u see a guy with a bottle of blood in his hands and limping ard ..yeah that's him. He didn't wan to scare innocent pple on the roads to death. I stayed home..donoe did wat..i think i was trying to change my blog layout.
Sun went shopping with meimei. Oh yeah shopping shopping shopping!! Quite satisfied with the shopping trip, i was so dying to shop!! But not totally satisfied, i believe i could go for another day of shopping and get everything i wan and taadaaa i won't b fussing over shopping anymore. I think i'm rather deprieved. Afterall, i juz gotten my pay which i believe is causing mi to lose my sense over shopping. I contributed $50 to a friend who is going to philippines for a mission trip today. My mentality is always that, if i can't go on a mission trip myself, i would be willing to contribute. No matter how small, i try to contribute. Usually some pple pray abt it b4 they contribute. I used to not b able to cos i don have the money u see. So now i do have some money, i could contribute..$50 out of my pay is quite a small sum. But enuff to give mi some heartaches. Anyway, something given out of ur heart will recieve more blessing in the other end. Somehow or rather someone will benefit,including mi. So pray that the money would help her go further in her quest.
We were walking pass Tangs to marriot Hotel that stretch when we saw this guy, who was wearing a tight tank top n jeans with a bow ard his neck bounced towards us. Yesh bounced. He was so happily bouncing..out of so many pple, out of a crowd he actually picked us. So he bounced over, blah and blah about his trimming eyebrow techniques blah n blah ..he was still jumping n bouncing with so much glee, in his enthusiasum i don think we catch wat he was trying to say even tho he was speaking ENGLISH.Showed us newspaper clippings of him, how he charged onli $10 asking us to support his business. Meimei was gd. She didn't care abt him and continue looking elsewhere. I saw a name tag he had made for himself. It read, 'Steven Lim. www.Stevenlim.com' and all the images of some singapore idol surfaced. No way ur gonna do anything to my apparent bushy eyebrows. Oh yeah he commented that my eyebrows are MESSY. So he's got a talent afterall leh. HE could spot my messy eyebrows from far away leh!! Anyway i told him some excuses, in fact some lies to get out of this. This is horrible.
And then when we were making our way back home at nite, going pass Scotts. I was approached by a guy, an indian guy who doesn't sound local. Asking mi if he has seen mi in watever watever restaurant on watever day... wah i mean..how cliche can it get. So i told him no u got the wrong person. And meimei juz walked quickly away leaving mi with the guy. He went on to explain how i looked like someone he met at the restaurant, asking if i'm local etc..can i give my contact no? I told more lies and made my move...catching up with meimei, dashing off. Apparently meimei was really amused with the day's weird events. And she went on to comment that i really don't look local. She said when she showed her photos of her touring in thailand, her fren commented that she took pics with tourists isist...y do all of us look foreign not local. That includes hsiaolin n her bf, mi n yicai. oh well...
Last nite yicai wanted to catch Starwars last min. At 9pm he called mi, asked if i wan to watch..so ok we booked online n then he didn't remind mi with his leg's prob he can't sit in the middle he has to sit beside the aisle? But i aldy booked! And i booked a 9.40pm show. We wanted to cancel it. Couldn't find a tel no to call. We rushed down by taxi, was 10.10pm. We talked to the staffs telling them that we wanted to cancel but we couldn't contact them. Could they change the booking to the 10.10 show instead and give us an aisle seat? they readily agreed. WAH. Then it's like yicai gets away with anything juz cos he's leg is wrapped up like a freak? The show didn't start until 10.30 lor, when the show finished the gates were drawn down, the onli way to get down JP is from the stairs. Then the staffs even wanted to draw up the gates juz for us..and then we said oh its' ok we juz go down by the stairs slowly..then one staff even insisted he accompany us all the way down!! we kept assuring him that yicai would b fine..but he still insisted..lucky we managed to get thru to him on the 2nd floor..haha..so yeah he gets away with everything. Everyone has been so nice to him. I feel so touched. ANyway i wrote an email to GV asking them to reward the staffs accordingly.
The movie itself was gd. It was a gd wrap up, alittle too fast-paced i feel. V upsetting.Well we all know it would come to this day when he turns to the bad side anyway. ANyway, wat excites mi more was the trailer of CHRONICLES OF NARNIA!!!!! omg!!!coming in december!!! I'm sure most pple know the story books rite??! It's being filmed!! It's written by C.S.Lewis, a christian writer, so this books reflects christianity in some form, similar to tolkein. Someone told mi they were gd frens indeed. It's filmed under waltz disney. I gez they are captitalising it. Bcos Chronicles of narnia has a total of 6 books if i'm not wrong, and this december's release is on the 1st book..i meean can u imagine! 6 shows running...like harry potter!! Argh!! can't wait!!!!!!! i'm so exicted!!
