What do u do when u realised u've 4gotten a fren's bday and ur like 3 days late from wishing her happy bday.....shd i pretend that nothing happened and i didn't realise it and continue pretending?Well i could wish her next yr mah.... Or send her an sms telling her that erm..happy belated bday sorrie i'm so late. Opps..haha..jialat..donoe how.....

2 saturdays ago, i was waiting for yicai at orchard. Cos i was shopping in OG orchard with my mom and then she left to go back to clementi to work and i was alone. So i was wandering ard, thinking of heading to the cafe in orchard lib, relax and read some mags u know..But turned out that the library was holding a seminar, lots of chairs lined up rows after rows infront of the stage. I caught a glimpse of a familar yellow symbol. The yellow rectangle....National geographic. It was holding a seminar, something on their films and collaboration with Sony digicams...It was free entry. And being a regular watcher of national geographic channel i was quite thrilled to catch this thing. So i went in, in fact was there for abt an hr bcos yicai took an hr to reach. Was very interesting. The vice president of the mag was the speaker and he related to us the history of how the magazine came abt. Showed us many clips...of the films they did..and the audiences asked their questions. One asked how do they film things like u know the piranhnas eating up the baby bird which had fallen from the tree? The answer was surprisingly quite hard for mi to swallow, a tag cruel i would say.....the cameraman would sit out in the jungle for a yr or 2 to research n observe...and see wat they can film and in this case he's seen baby birds fallin from trees..to the river below..and eaten up whole by the fishes...so wat they do is they bring in a big tank..clear the water(cos river water is too muddy to film beneath) and purposely put the bird in for the fishes to eat it up..and they film it...cos they have to have all the apparatus everywhere to capture it beautifully, it has to b set up. Ahhh..isn't that cruel. Now i know how they get shots of those little creatures like lizards or snakes or frogs eating something else...cos they set it them up. I'm usually quite amazed with their speed of churning out films esp each film take abt a few yrs to finish. Recently as soon as i read abt the new species of human discovered by scientists, which they named the 'hobbits', national geo has premiered the whole discovery on its channel. So national geo probably has funded the whole exploration and research that's y. It's really quite interesting. I can't rem the film's title. But it's abt the 'hobbits' and the theory that many species of human lived together at one pt of time, and i highlight MANY. Bcos in the past the tot was that probably onli like 2 were present at one time and one couldn't survive the other so one got extinct etc blah blah blah till we homo sapiens outlived the other and survived on.......so it's quite interesting...haven't watched it yet tho..but this 'hobbits' are very interesting cos they are really small humans. And that's y they are named 'hobbits'. Ahhh does it bring to mind the names of 4 hobbits named frodo, sam, pippin and merry????? haha..

I finally went to a church yesterday. The church is called Mt Carmel bible presbysterian, juz beside Ginza. I think this could be juz the church i wanna settle down. I find it quite similar to my old church, faith methodist church. At least wat it used to be. Mt carmel has juz undergone renovation, like my old church, except that it's smaller than my church and i like it that way. cosier. I would expect preshbysterian to be somewat different from methodist but i realised there's not much diff, in fact so much similar to my old one than other churches are. The stuffs they do..the music is contemporary plus HYMMS and u know how much i love hymms ...so naturally i was so delighted to know that it's a mix of music..holy communion was wat my church did...as in they pass the drink and bread to us instead of us going up to the stage to b prayed for etc..too much things and i didn't like it...i felt comfy with the way sermons were presented..crowd is small, i suspect most pple goes to the 9am service. And crowd is not THAT old as compared to my church. So...yaps.. I'm really glad. I'm really happie. The layout of the church reminds mi of my old church too...while my old church has like 6 floors after refurbishing, this mt carmel onli has 2. Has got a kindergarden like my old church haha...and it's got chinese service, which i oso wan to b looking for in a church, for my parents............it could juz b the church i wan to settle down in. We shall see =)

Ahh haven't explained y i went to that church. Cos i know of this user who i helped her with her stuffs in my lab...and she's from that church. So contacted her and i went with yicai. That's all. And i realised one of my sec sch maths tcher is in the church? i saw her left when we went into the church...cos she went to the earlier service. Really so happie abt that cos i like the tcher alot. And still talks to her once in a while when i see her at my bustop but it's been mths...since i last tok to her....
