erm..yeah her bday was yesterday actually. NVM...
I almost had to stay till at least 6.30pm yesterday to do staining of my gel. And then i pleaded with weiping to do the rest of the protocol for me since she's staying. Well she readily agreed. Weiping is juz so nice. Then today, the phd student Jason and weiping was like teasing me for zaoing hm when i shd b finishing the experiment bcos in this research field, there's no such thing as off work or weekends or holidays...and i was juz thinking well......i'm still not fully involved in this research thingie so i get to go off early. I gez sooner or later i'll b stuck here doing my expts booohooo...and come back on sats and suns as well!! Gosh......
But yeah..now i can finally understand a teeny bit of y they would wan to come back 7 days a week. Bcos when ur doing research, one small part of the expt would mean something like spending 1 day or 2 working on it and imagine wat u could have accomplished in a day or 2...
