OK turned out the 1st diagnosis from NUH's A & E doctor is wrong. Wah piang. How they could ever make such a mistake puzzles me. I gez sometimes the symptomps look like it's some other illness but then it's hard to pinpoint which....anyway YIcai is diagnosed (this time confirmed) with having dengue fever....Finally they found out wat's wrong with him...all the UTI bullshit. Hai told ucan't trust NUH liao......ANyway he's pretty stablilised. There's nothing much u can do with dengue fever anyway, juz wait for the whole thing to b over lor. His platelet count is dropping so much...but hte doc says it's normal, when it peaks up he can b discharged. Shd b today i gez unless he peaks too low then a platelet transfusion is needed.....
Last nite after work (and during lunch) i went to accompany him. I mean NUH is so bloody near, juz a 2 min walk from my building. Quite happie he's so near me haha. Anywya last nite was pretty cool i juz laid on his bed with him and watch HBO playing matrix reloaded HAHA. Went home and very tired. Can't help worrying..but i think he shd b fine.
