I've been given a job. *jumps* Lab officer in National University Medical Institute in NUS in the DNA sequencing and in-situ hybridisation lab. OH YEAH!!! The lady from the institute called mi ard 5+pm and said i was shortlisted and i was like huh? u sure? Cos i was quite convinced i'll not get the job since there were so many pple interviewed. I really can't believe it. I didn't do exceptionally well in teh interview either omg. Really man. Thank God!!
I donoe the pay..i donoe anything except i've been shortlisted. The lady said she's submitting my applications to the HR for them to handle so HR got to tok to mi cos she doesn't know abt my pay etc. My best bet is they are offering mi 1.8k... sux. I would bargain. I was given a tour ard the lab oso..juz as any other interviewees were given to. Small lab. I'm gonna work with 2 other gals onli. cool...sounds cosy...and looks cosy. I think i was given the biggest advantage over the others when the prof asked mi in curiosity wat module did i like best? I answered," Immunology" and he burst out laughing. He said he's teaching the immunology this yr. Oh man. I striked gold. So qiao. yeah yeah i'm serious. It was juz a causal remark from mi although i do like immuno quite alot, i didn't know he's research focus is immuno...so great i'm really blessed. The lady said HR would contact mi latest by 2 weeks...so i can expect to quit soon. arh..so sad.
