A piece of gd news to share. I got a interview next tues! Everytime my hp rang i'll b on high alert to ans it with the sweetest politest voice possible and trust mi i've been tricked many times thinking it's some interview calls when it's not. Today finally got one interview call hee. The woman claimed that i sent a resume in May and asked if i'm still interested in the position of lab officer. I was like thinking...huh? May? i don think i did lor..she said shes from nus. I don think i sent my resume to nus in May leh. I asked her which dept is she calling from she said she's calling from a research institute..ok check this out man. It's national university medical institute at MD11. Seriously man..today is the day that i knew that such an institute exist in NUS. ahh well..cool!!!! Pretty happy. I hope i can get the job. The prob is i donoe wat the institute deals with and i 4got to ask who would b interviewing mi etc. Mayb i shd call back and ask. Hey i wanted to sms xy,jen and QL to tell them of the news but i reckon it's too difficult to explain to you all when i myself don even know y the woman insisted i sent a resume in May and the existence of such institute.
ANyway i've not been online for days. Been working OT and OT and OT. Month end so alot of work to clear. Not that i;m really complaining. I'm kinda ok with working long hrs aldy..seems like i aldy adaptd to this sort of life. So i gez lab work shd b fine huh? And somemore i get to earn OT pay...ha..can't wait for my pay!! wooo hoo!!then i can finally get my phone!!!!!!!!!! yipppeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah yeah yeah!!!!
Well gonna edit some cover letters and hopefully send them out tomoro. Havne't been sending much resumes either..panic. I don wan to b one of those pple who end up in how the newspapers always exaggerates abt grads not getting a job after 6 mths!Pressure!! ~~~sick! Anyway i've been dreaming of gettting a car. Hee..i think if a perm job and some savings i think i shd b able to afford a car? But that would b in the future. A cheap car that is. I wan to be able to bring my parents ard..esp now that my dad is kinda confined to hse so i hope one day i would b able to bring them out to eat, shop etc..and a car would make things so much more convenient.
