How can u ..deying...gloat over how u can watch olypmics??!!!! I can't believe this! I'm staying home on a saturday and there's no gymnastics...no synchronised diving...waterver watever..wah lau eh..did i miss it?!?!?!
yesh yesh Li Jia wei defeated stupid Wang nan...Wang nan deserves it....but wat's the fuss? Li Jia Wei isn't even Singaporean..she's not groomed by Singapore? So is it THAT Proud of singaporeans if she even wins a medal?
Yesterday was really interesting...to mi at least. At 4pm, my supervisor told mi that i've to go with her to AIA towers at Raffles place to do something (which is quite stupid i tell ya..), so...i took my bag and left my office with her and this other perm colleague and this other old lady who sent us to the towers with her car ..both of whom i do not even know. My supervisor's name is Yen Yen pronounced as yan yan....such affinity between us that we kinda share the name. Yen Yen is probably in her late 20s but she's married and has a baby gal..this i know cos i saw her daughter's photos on her desk...she's not particularly gdlooking at 1st glance. And she horrifies me. She's always so stressed up...whenever i tok to her, she never ever smiles at me. She always seemed so preoccupied she doesn't wan to tok to me much. I never seen her smile b4 actually until we travelled together to AIA towers. I saw the other side of her with her friends. She's much happier and she does smiles...haha..i almost tot she got no happiness in her life or something. But i still don dare to tok to her much. She seems like she's frm a different world...
Anyway we went to the towers cos they handle different kind of insurance from ours and some of their clients belongs to us too. So we had to go there and search thru a HUGE stack of applications to find those that belong to ours and zap them. So there i was standing for 40 mins search thru and zapping n zapping n zapping....sounds familar...i used to stand as long zapping the textbooks in the library for last min studying...now i';m zapping these donoe wat for stuffs...And i'm like thinking wat stupid company is this...y can't they keep applications in soft copy and in databases and send it to us...wah lau..wat is this?? Yen Yen thanked mi profusely for coming down and i was smiling sweetly saying OH NO PROBLEM.
After the thing, i called up Xiaoying cos most likely she would b in her parent's office near city hall. So she really was and we met up..gai gai chit chat in city hall...very tired. But i'm SO happy that i could b shopping on a weekday...it's like wah!!!!!!!!!! Yeah ok i'm deprived can......*mumbles* *mumbles* Anyway so happie!!!!!!!
Today i edited my cover letter in the fastest time ever in my whole entire life. Ok exaggerated but then it's really teh fastest lor! I got it done in within 30 mins and by then i had printed out everything and pasted my beautiful photograph on it and hot and ready to b sent out. It's to Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory...i sent to them b4..but obviously id idn't get any replies...i saw the recruit having their ad so i decided i shall send it to them again. Hopefully they call..but i think chances are small lar......hai
My mom has decided to go back to her factory to work on this coming mon. I told her to babysit to earn some cash but she thinks it's not enuff...i don exactly agree with her on going out to work..cos i don think my dad can be alone completely ...and he's gonna juz watch tv the whole day??? not tok to anyone? Anyone would go mad rite?? Hai i donoe her lar..
And shes' complaining abt my rabbit whole day everyday until i feel it's such a pain to keep the rabbit. She has this amazing super ability to influence ur tots..until u think that yeah..it's so mafan to keep him..y not give him away...And 4get abt how much time u had spent with the rabbit..how much u loved him...how cute he is...how sad u would b when u come home not seeing the rabbit anymore? hai...............
