+ The sterilisation +
Yaps Angel had gone thru his sterilisation. I brought him into the vet at 10.15am prob just to leave him there so that he could b operated on in the afternoon. Waited for like half an hr b4 they asked mi to sign the authorisation forms n pay the deposit and place Angel in the cages....wasted so much of my time. Damn sian. Then i went home and in the noon went to ikea with Ql and Xy..thanz for accompanying mi :) Then after that we head down to marina south to fly kites lor. All these while i was alittle worried abt Angel. Wonder if he could feel very miserble in the cage in a strange environment? If he would b ok after the operation?
Anyway..the kiteflying was err quite a failure. No winds...and we ran like mad to try to keep the kites looking as if it was flying. But no..reality proved otherwise. Either we are really lousy in this or blame it on the windless day. So not long after when we were all exhausted ourselves by running like mad women, we gave up, packed and went for icecream..then soon later there were more wind, saw many other pple flying their kites up so high and effortlessly ..so we decided to give our kites another try..aiyah. Fail again lar..At least this time we got the kites flying alittle bit but not say really way off the grd anyawy. I think we really sux in this. SObz...how do u fly the damn kites?! Argh!! Xiaoying was kind enuff to send mi to the vet to collect Angel.
The nurse told mi that Angel tried to lick his wounds and caused bleeding..so i better get a collar ( u know the plastic spherical thingie that wraps ard the animals' neck as if they have broken their necks...seen usually on dogs..) to prevent angel from reaching it's wounds. In fact, the collar prevents Angel from doing anything! But i didn't think much at the vet, i was like oh need collar ah..okok get collar. The nurse put it on Angel and of cos he wasn't very happy with that thing that also obstructs his visions. Anyway when i was his wound, i was pretty upset. LIke oh no..i put my rabbit thru this painful thing..my heart ached. His underpart was in a mess, blood stains, urine stains..definetely a heart-aching sight sobz. But then Angel was the old curious rabbit when it reached home, it's as if it hasn't gone thru a painful castration :p It's juz amazing how little pain animals show when they are in pain. He could run ard like usual, just that the plastic collar really irritated him alot. The nurse said to put the collar on for 10 days...Angel would recover in ard 10- 14 days... Like i said i didn't think much of the collar ..just tot it's neccessary. Once i reached home and i see him so uncomfy in it..obstructs his vision and yeah it prevents angel from licking his wounds..but it also unforturnatly prevents him from reaching his food and water and also his shit. Rabbits...they get their nurtrients mostly from a kind of soft shit they pass our from their anus..gross i know..but we seldom see it..cos the rabbit would lick his anus when the that kind of shit comes out and it would eat it..SO..since the collar prevents him from doing that? The soft stool was out all over the place. Imagine that! I was going ard wiping shit from the ground..SO he totally made a mess out of the toilet when he was kept in the toilet. He couldn't eat his food hismelf as well. I gez the collar must b more for dogs for a few gd reasons...dogs don eat their own shit and dogs eat 1 main meal a day ..rabbits eat a series of meals a day whenever they like it. Hai..poor angel. I couldn't bear to see it suffer like that..10 days is ridiculous can! So today i took the collar off..And i spent the whole noon almost all the time sitting in front of him observing him grooming himself and making sure that he doesn't lick his wound. After a day of obseravtions i'm pretty convinced he doesn't lick his wounds so i'm even planning to not let him wear the collar tonite while i go sleep..i would check up on him over the nite of cos..Rem he was in a mess with stained dried blood and urine and shit? He licked himself quite clean today..amazing..hai poor thing. Sometimes i really regret having to put him thru all these..and all that shit smell awww can die..eek

erm..Yeah i think i'm undergoing depression as well..donoe y..my fren thinks it might b cos i'm staying at home for too long...i donoe..damn sian lar.. yawn
