+ How everyone grows up +
I met Edwin at JP's seven 11 on tues. He was my 1st 3 mths' classmate and boy...how everyone has changed. I havent' seen him since we graduated from AC..it's really funnie how everyone changes so much in juz 3 yrs? He has grown his hair long, slightly longer after the ear and he tied it back, holding a helment in another hand...so punk..so not like him when i think abt how he looked like back then haha. And then i really can't help wondering y everyone could change so much.Back then it seems like everyone is almost the same,everyone is a student,all looking so toot and stuff, some looked incredibly gd, some did very well in studies etc BUT still..nobody had their own cars then rite?Life was simply as a student. Now everyone has a different life,car,bikes,credit cards etc...SO i gez we've really grown up..fitting more and more into the adult's world..funny how everyone has changed. So sian. I could barely recognise him when he called my name. I prob had stared at him blankly for 5 sec without replying a word ( 5 sec is a bloody long time if u think abt it)This guy looks familiar..is he..my AC schmate? or my CPF ex colleague? ANd searching for a name to fit that face took a day actually. I tot his name was alvin until deying corrected mi, his name is EDWIN. Gosh..lucky i didn't call him ALvin back at the seven-11..this is so embarrassing!Aiyo ..SOmehow i always find it quite rude to not be able to call someone by his/her name..i mean after all they COULD remember my name and my name is no easy chinese name to remember and i couldn't even rem theirs?Y am i like that....
ANyway, got to spend 2 weekdays with yicai so i'm pretty contended. Except...i donoe y we always have to drag n drag until ard 5pm then we would prepare to go out. It's as if we rather slack the day away but that is such a waste of time! We barely can spend whole day again and we still wans to slack the noon away HAI. Lousy time management. New progress in our SMALL attempts to organise our Bangkok trip. Well, like i mentioned b4, yicai can onli make it on the 4th week of june, on 22nd june that week. So everyone has to kind of accomodate his timing. Then there was this nagging worry abt whether i might b able to land a job by then and how i prob can't go aldy since i won't b able to take leave but we have to get the tix booked asap aldy. Hai..STRESS!! Tok to my cousin just now. She plans to quit her current job by the end of the month so ..the plan is we would try to go on 1st july till 5 july if possible.Khal can make it. Yicai must try to convince his bitchy supervisor to let him go. And again the naggy worry of getting a job rite b4 we leave and i donoe wat to do now...And 5th july is terribly terribly too close to my commencement ceremony. According to schedule, it would b on the 5th or 6th. SO i gez i would b juz in time for it huh? Then my mom would b back to attend..and she would prob NAG abt how i haven't got a job yet!! oh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo *screams*
i think i need to take up a temp job NOW. At least, show her tat i'm working, not bumming ard like a rich taitai!! oh nooooooooooooooooooo God help mi.
